Every Kind of Camper,
One Beautiful Place

RV travelers. Glampers. Tent campers. Van lifers. Families. Solo adventurers. Reunion groups. Multi-gen road trippers. We’ve got a spot for all of you — and we’ve thought carefully about how to make everyone comfortable. Reserved, marked sites mean you always know exactly where you’re staying, while our shared spaces bring everyone together when the day winds down. This rare mix of different traveler types in one welcoming place is what makes the connections here feel real. You might share a campfire with a retired couple from Vermont, a solo Gen Z traveler from Portland, and a family from Texas all in the same evening. That’s the Camp LBZ experience.

Location, Location, Location

You’ll never run out of “wow” from here. Nestled in the high desert near Kanab, Utah, Camp Land Beyond Zion sits at the crossroads of some of the most spectacular scenery in North America. Zion National Park is just 45 minutes away — but that’s just the start.

Major destinations within easy reach:

  • Zion National Park — 45 minutes

  • Bryce Canyon National Park

  • Grand Canyon North Rim

  • Grand Staircase–Escalante National Monument

  • Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park

  • Antelope Canyon

And for those who’d rather skip the crowds? We know the local secrets — the backcountry roads, the hidden slot canyons, the quiet trailheads the tour buses never find. Just ask us.

Where Strangers Become Friends

Camp Land Beyond Zion is more than a place to sleep — it’s a place to belong. Whether you arrive solo, with family, or with a group of friends, something unexpected tends to happen here: you connect. Conversations start around the fire. Strangers share trail tips over morning coffee. Kids find playmates. Generations find common ground. Our communal spaces — the outdoor kitchen, the fire pit circles, the hot tub, the hammock area — are intentionally designed for those spontaneous human moments that you can’t find scrolling a screen. We host s’more nights, group hikes, and low-key social gatherings throughout the season. There’s no pressure and no agenda — just easy opportunities to meet your neighbors if you want to. Come for the desert sky. Stay for the people.

The site is clean and quiet, and very close to several parks and monuments. Kanab is also very close which is nice. Shanti and the other host were very helpful and welcoming. We've already decided to come back and spend more than 1 night at Beyond Zion so we can explore the area more.
