Camp Land Beyond Zion was built from the very beginning with one belief at its core: that the outdoors belongs to everyone. That belief resonates deeply with who we are and what we stand for — and it’s one of the reasons this place felt like such a perfect fit when we found it. It’s woven into everything here, and we’re committed to carrying it forward.

 

Whoever you are, wherever you come from, whatever you believe, whom you love, how you identify, or how you choose to move through the world — you are welcome here, fully and without reservation. No asterisks. No exceptions.

 

We’ve found that the most meaningful connections happen when people who might never cross paths in their regular lives end up sharing a kitchen, a fire, or a sunset. That only works when everyone feels genuinely safe. So while we lead with warmth and openness, we also mean it when we say this is a zero-tolerance space for disrespect. Anyone who makes a fellow guest feel unwelcome or uncomfortable for who they are or what they believe will be asked to leave. Full stop.

 

Camp LBZ is also located on the ancestral lands of the Kaibab Band of the Southern Paiute people, who have stewarded this region for generations. We honor their history and their deep connection to this land, and we hold ourselves accountable to being responsible stewards of it in our time here.
